George Laws has been in several student shorts including Hellhound and Performance Review, having also written the latter.  In Dedication Damage he plays the part of Gary, and also assists with script editing.  He hopes to produce history documentaries in the near future, as well as several science fiction film concepts.  He views filmmaking as world-building, as everyone involved comes together and provides their own influences for what ultimately becomes an entirely new reality.  Among his primary influences are Terry Gilliam, Fritz Lang, David Attenborough, James Burke, and indie filmmaker Cory McAbee.
